Uses Bispectral Index® (BIS) technology

The Infinity® BISx® SmartPod® incorporates BISx smart technology into Infinity patient monitors. The Bispectral Index® (BIS), a processed EEG parameter, can indicate the effects of sedation on the brain. The BISx pod allows you to measure BIS index, Signal Quality Index, Burst Suppression Ratio, Electromyography (EMG), Total Power, Spectral Edge Frequency, and Burst Count. One EEG waveform can be displayed.

The pod easily interfaces to Infinity Delta, Delta XL, Kappa, Kappa XL, Gamma X XL and Vista XL monitors via a standard pod communication channel.

Allows anesthesia to be delivered with more precision

Data gathered by the Infinity BISx SmartPod and helps you deliver anesthesia with more precision, and enables you to assess and respond to a patient’s changing condition during anesthesia.

Supports patient care in the OR, ICU and more

Incorporating the extended platform (XP) technology from Aspect Medical Systems, the Infinity BISx SmartPod provides sustained, reliable BIS measurement in the OR, ICU and other clinical settings.
