Dräger Receives Prestigious 2011 AARC Zenith Award for Third Consecutive Year

Telford, PA – Dräger was recently named one of five companies out of a field of 400 to receive the Zenith Award from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC). The award, which is given to companies that provide outstanding products and services to the respiratory care profession, was presented during the AARC’s 57th International Respiratory Congress in Tampa in November 2011.

Bernhard Dräger Award for Research on Lung Protective Ventilation

Lübeck - Dr. med. Thomas Muders of the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine, University of Bonn has received the Bernhard Dräger Award for his ongoing study "Intra- and postoperative titration of positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) using electrical impedance tomography (EIT)". The European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) awarded the 15,000 Euro prize during the 24^th ESICM LIVES convention in Berlin.
